The growing popularity of RecruitingBlogs, a network for recruiters, apparently warrants an upgrade to the site’s current job board offering. Site founder Jason Davis, known as Slouch on the site, has revealed that JobTarget will soon be powering their career portal, replacing the current homemade system.
“I am very excited to be able to start working with JobTarget,” said Davis. “I have known Ethan Bloomfield (Vice President of Sales Operations for JobTarget) a long time and believe that JobTarget is uniquely qualified to deliver exactly the kind of job board RecruitingBlogs.com needs right now. As a result of the network growth in the past 6 months and the growing volume of job posting from members, it is necessary to create a place to support these job opportunities.”
JobTarget Complete, as the product is dubbed, is billed as a “fully managed career center at the most competitive rates on the market.” In addition to providing job content focused on HR and recruiting opportunities, another benefit JobTarget will provide RecruitingBlogs is distribution through a variety of channels, including vertical job search engines, which will create a new flow of recruiter traffic to the site, and thus new members.
“RecruitingBlogs has had fast and wild success over the past year and we are thrilled to be a part of the continued growth of Jason’s newest venture,” said Bloomfield. “The JobTarget job board platform will be a perfect compliment to the network, providing users with a complete career services module.”
The new offering is said to be going live “in about 2 weeks tops.” Posting for members will be free for the first 90 days with a coupon code. Price after the initial period has yet to be determined. JobTarget will share in the revenue generated from the job board.
