I love new technology and taking risks but I wonder based on the audio clips if the members of payinterview have any recruiting experience. Furthermore, based on their value propositions, have they spent enough time analyzing their market. Video? Matching Technology? Social Networks? Isn’t that a trifecta.

But primarily, as a recruiter, it appears that Jim doesn’t understand what we do, our value proposition, or the real cost to hire. The fees that clients pay represents only a very small aspect of the total cost. What’s most dangerous for payinterview is that we’ve survived and thrived since the launch of Monster, Careerbuilder, Hotjobs, Linkedin, Facebook, etc. Any recruiter worth their salt is hardly worried or intimidated by payinterview or any similar website. I would suggest that Jim better understand his audience before making such statements as he will more than likly be speaking with former recruiters.

They are still going to need a massive candidate database to make this work, he never mentioned how they will obtain that, but it will cost them big bucks to attract job seekers, I wonder how much they are willing to spend to do that…

I think attracting the candidates will be easy…you’re paying them. It’s the quality and the value proposition that makes me wonder…but I do wish them luck
