I just love e-mail spam. I love getting my YouTube account spammed too. The most recent offender appears to be a job site in the EmploymentCrossing network, touting AccountManagerCrossing, from “clarence10emails4.”

Not us! says EmploymentCrossing.
CEO Harrison Barnes informs us, “We are not spamming you - but it looks like a competitor of ours is. Looks like a good way for us to get negative publicity. I cannot imagine in 1,000,000 years why we would be interested in spamming you.”
Yeah, someone’s screwin’ ‘em. That’s the ticket.

I have seen several new spam comments in recent days to some of my videos on Youtube by them. Whoever it is, stop.

the “crossing” people show up all over the place as “purchasing crossing” “restaurant crossing”, etc.
what they do is take (often stale) job postings from other (free) boards and try to charge job seekers access fees. sometimes you can can sign up for limited free access, but only if you share credit card info with them so they can “bill you later” if you forget to cancel the service.
they may or may not be spamming, but they certainly haven’t shown this job seeker that they are much more than bottom feeders. birds of a kind do tend to flock together.
