Jobfloat, a new job board for web designers and developers launched today, and it has me scratching my head.
Here is a description I found about the job site:
Broadly speaking, the site is a board where ads from all over the web catering for such professionals are grouped together for browsing convenience.
The most recent ads are spotlighted on the main page, and upon clicking on any of them a detailed description is produced. The requirements that have to be complied with are duly described alongside the responsibilities and duties that particular position entails.
A cyborg might have written this, because it hardly makes sense. The web site is ok visually, although my eyes started burning after a few minutes from all the white space, and some of the fonts are so faint that I had to blink a couple times to read them.
I was curious as to who created the site, but I couldn’t find an “about” page. There was a copyright link at the bottom for something called “Web Funters,” and it took me to a page that said this:
Ladies and Gentlemen. Let’s have a big hand for us- the Web Funters™. Who are we? We are the genius gang of extreme geeks and we create appealing and amazing products that move the world and change minds. Working at Web Funters Inc. is always fun for “sassy”, “saucy” and “brainiac” individuals.
I’m still scratching my head over this. Web Funters? Are they superheroes who create job boards? If anyone knows, please shed some light on this mystery.

Well. The website looks nice but what the heck! Who are webfunters? I visited http://www.webfunters.com/ and found this funny remark on this footer:
“This webpage design has been “obviously” copied from Obvious”.
It makes me wonder too.

Vanessa. Your website is also as white as jobfloat. Innit?

It has a white background, yes, but I can see the fonts clearly on this site, at least. I can barely read half the content on the jobfloat page.
