If I’m going to slam a job board because of poor design, it would only be fair to find one that really screams fun and innovation. And I think I’ve stumbled across it.
Check out StartUpers.com. I know what you’re thinking - not another job board for start-ups. But this one is so…well…delightfully cheesy that it warrants a visit.
This is a glimpse of their home page, for starters:
It looks like a child took a black Sharpie and drew all over the site. I love the simplicity, the humor (a message below the portion to submit your resume warned of this: startups only! everything else will be vaporized. no spam or I’ll send my boys after you ).
And who are the boys he speaks of? The creator of the site was kind enough to display a video of his “spam bodyguards.”
There’s even a link to click on in case you spot your boss sneaking up behind you for an unwanted visit.
The site doesn’t make any money, but the people behind it are willing to accept donations via Paypal if you are so inclined. Here are the creators and how they describe themselves:

Oh, yeah, and they have jobs and other random musings strewn throughout. It’s great to see such a creatively thought-out site come to fruition. Hope this one sticks, guys (especially you, Joe Mama).

This board have been online for over a year. not exactly a new job board i would say.
