Vanessa, thank you for your post. The economic downturn has forced employers to take a closer look at employee costs. At the same time job seekers want a better work-life balance. Both objectives can be accomplished using jobCogs.com. By adding low to no cost quality-of-life benefits employees can improve recruitment and control salary costs. With quality-of-life benefits job seekers will enjoy higher job satisfaction.

In my opinion, jobCogs.com will always be a work-in-progress. The website continues to be molded by our community of users.

Chris, thank you for your comments. We just added “Environmentally Friendly” as a quality-of-life search option.

I think this is a great idea by JobCogs.com. Employers are certainly needing to think about these extra employee 'benefits' as today's workforce want more from their employers - so it's good to see JobCogs taking the initiative early.

Hopefully it will also help companies realize and capitalize on different benefits and perks that they could be offering to attract and retain the best candidates.

The list seems extensive - and I couldn't see anything about being 'green', or environmentally friendly there! Hopefully they'll add these soon.
