StrongResume.com has announced the launch of an online resume writer marketplace that showcases 175 (and counting) professional resume writers from around the country.
Founder Chris Crompton said the created the marketplace after his own disastrous experience with a writer who created an inaccurate depiction of his work history.
“After paying $279 for a resume written by someone with no knowledge of my industry who delivered a week later than promised, I knew there had to be a better way,” he said. “I decided to take an ‘Amazon.com’ style approach where the resume writers themselves are the products competing head-to-head.”
Those in need of resume services can filter through writers by various criteria including location, job specialization, and education level of the writers to pick the writer that best-suits them.
Crompton also said, “The premise of StrongResume.com is that resume writers compete for your business and may command higher rates only if they consistently deliver outstanding quality resumes. Everything is transparent, with customer reviews posted directly to the site. This approach favors the job seeker at a time when they need it most.”
