It’s been a good week for Bullhorn, the Boston-based recruiting software provider that claims to give staffing firms the only completely integrated front-office system.
First they unveiled a new sourcing solution called Integrated Resume Search, a solution that combines “direct, real-time access to a number of job boards with an on-demand, integrated front office.”
CEO Art Papas said the solution saves recruiters
time by accessing multiple job boards from within Bullhorn. Recruiters can perform and save searches to be used for future job orders. The system also improved managment of duplicate candidates by preventing payment for the same resume multiple times.
Coinciding with the release of Integrated Resume Search was the announcement that Monster and Bullhorn are partnering to unveil a new online recruiting platform called PowerSource, which Papas said was built on top of Integrated Resume Search. Essentially PowerSource allows recruiters to use the same search interface from Bullhorn to search the Monster database.
“The first thing recruiters do is search their own database,” Papas said. “Those clicks really add up. Then you find resumes you want to call, and most people don’t want to put them in their ATS. The problem with that is if I determine that candidate wouldn’t be a fit, you would probably want to annotate that somewhere in the system. PowerSource allows you to streamline the whole search process, from searching Bullhorn to Monster. It’s a one-click process to bring candidates into the database.”
Papas said PowerSource was a vision he had seven years ago and is very pleased to see his blueprints come to fruition.
“Of course the market is very competitive, but Monster is a fantastic brand,” Papas said. “They’ve set a great track record for innovation.”
He also hinted at a second big announcement that will be coming in the following weeks.
“We have partnerships planned with other job boards as well,” he said. “Monster came first and the other folks will be announced over time.”
Hmmm, wonder who that could be?
