Jobvite, a creator of next-generation recruitment solutions, has announced that Zappos.com, an online retailer of handbags, clothing, and shoes, will be utilizing Jobvite to streamline their talent acquisition process.

Zappos, which began online in 1999, had gross merchandise sales of over $800 million last year. The company said that they are looking to Jobvite to help them enable cost-effective hiring, promote the company’s unique culture and utilize social recruitment.
Zappos has been recognized for their unique hiring practices, including “The Offer ,” in which the company tests the enthusiasm and commitment of new hires by offering a $2,000 bonus to quit. New hires are told about the offer at the end of the first week of their four-week training class.
