I think that certain things hold it back now, though. One being that I'm not sure there's any safeguard in place for stopping companies from discrimination based on all the visual content. (then again, that never stopped them on paper-based resumes alone) Second, the downturn in the economy is going to (as it always does) inevitably lead to less agency fees and peripheral (Visual CV -type) fees being paid by companies to save $ on the bottom line. The truth of it is, still, that HR is one of the 1st departments to take a hit when the economy goes south. I really think that this is a cool idea, and love the concept for the industry.
