JobCompass is a new application for the iPhone that claims to be the only patent pending application that searches millions of jobs and plots them on a map in relation to your location.

But unlike CareerBuilder’s free application, JobCompass will charge users $3.99 to download.

A writer for Mashable
has already given the application, which was submitted to the app store Nov. 17, a thumbs up for utility and design, noting that the app “wears itself better” [than CareerBuilder's].

Currently JobCompass pulls listings from Indeed and also has connections to Monster and HotJobs.
