Job search engine Simply Hired has announced that Brian Corey will be their new Senior Vice President of Sales.
For the past eight years, Corey managed the overall revenue generation and goal attainment for Monster Worldwide’s Enterprise sales teams.
“Brian is one of the most highly regarded sales executives in the recruiting industry. We are privileged to have him on board to drive our growing sales efforts,” states Gautam Godhwani, CEO of Simply Hired. “His reputation for delivering results for his company, his clients and his partners is only surpassed by his own standards for caring leadership, professionalism and ethics. Brian is very passionate about Simply Hired’s goal of helping people find a job they love and we look forward to working with him to build a company that will achieve that mission for job seekers and Simply Hired employees alike.”
Back in April, it was rumored that Corey would be leaving Monster along with another top sales rep, Bonnie Lieberman. Since April, Corey has been managing the sales of Factor TG products.
“I am thrilled to join Simply Hired’s seasoned management team of talented entrepreneurs,” said Corey, Senior Vice Present of Sales for Simply Hired. “It is exciting to be part of a team devoted to transforming the recruiting business with pay-per-click advertising.”
Corey was named VP of the year for three consecutive years at Monster.

I am quite confused. Simplyhired has had a strong ethical culture with respect for their clients - and then there is the Monster culture, where winning is everything and the only respect is for growth in the bottom line. Has SimplyHired now entered the darkside???
Maybe they can find some Enron execs to balance the team…….
