fevq keeps job searching simple

A new job board, FevQ.com, is keeping the job search process simple.

Like most job boards, FevQ offers a wide variety of industries and job listings throughout the nation. What makes the site different is how it operates, for both job seekers and employers. FevQ offers free posting to employers looking to hire. The site spiders job openings from Bokrin.com, a classified site that allows users to post services, gigs and jobs for free.

FevQ also is a unique experience for the job seeker. Users aren’t required to register, and the structure of the site allows users to click on a certain industry and then narrow opportunities by state. Postings on the site are listed by date of submission.

One fall-back is that the site doesn’t allow users to input specific search terms or exact city or town locations, which could be an inconvenience to John Doe looking for a job in Forks, Washington. However, because of its simplicity, FevQ should be extremely useful to job seekers looking for an easy and friendly site to navigate.

I looked at the site and did a couple of job searches. Most of the jobs posted are outdated. It looks like a Craigslist wannabe. Ease of use, sort of.

I could see how a site like this might be useful for services and gigs as it grows, etc but not necessarily for a job search.

I guess, too, that I don’t understand how a new job board could jump into the online recruiting game in this economy.

    Is there a deadpool over/under?

Yeah, job postings like http://www.bokrin.com/ad/11727/ are sure to make this a short-lived venture.

Thank you Jesus! Another job board!
