Monster Worldwide and the Sun-Times News Group, the source of news for the greater Chicago area and principal operating subsidiary of Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. have announced a partnership that will bring co-branded Web sites, online, and print services via the Chicago Sun-Times at www.suntimes.com/monster.
In addition, the alliance will also bring co-branded web sites to the Sun-Times News Group’s 70 suburban publications, which include The SouthtownStar, Post-Tribune, The Herald News, The Beacon News, and The Courier News.
The Group’s newspapers and Web sites reach about four million readers weekly in print and online. According to Nielsen/NetRatings Netview, the co-branded Web site will reach an audience of about three million unique visitors per month.

Here is what the sites will offer, according to a press release:

Monster now has partnerships with over 250 newspapers and 100 television outlets.

Why does it always seem like Monster is just playing catch up to CareerBuilder. If CareerBuilder jumped off a cliff Monster surely would follow.
