What could be more fun than a bunch of HR folks, Bourbon Street, and beignets from Cafe du Monde? How about a bunch of HR folks rocking out to Sheryl Crow?

If you’re headed to the SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition in 2009, then you’re in for a treat. It was announced this week that Sheryl Crow, a recipient of nine Grammy awards who is perhaps best known for her hit song “All I Wanna Do” (and for being Lance Armstrong’s ex), will be a part of your conference entertainment.

She is set to perform Tuesday, June 30, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. One ticket is included in the registration fee, but additional tickets are $80.

This year SHRM has more than 750 exhibiting companies in over 140,000 net square feet of exhibit space and an audience of more than 11,500 HR professionals from around the world.
