Free or discounted job postings – so what’s the catch? Somebody will inevitably lose for another one’s gain. It would be smart for recruiters who get free postings to write up a complex job description as opposed to suggested buzzwords by the sales people which will return more realistic candidate matches. Nothing is really free anymore.

I’ve heard that Jobcircle is in trouble and they have pretty much thrown away their rate cards. They used to have a neat magazine (gone) and big JF’s that are now quite small and only once a month. The lady who was from Monster apparently left as well.

Really a shame, they were a very good company a couple of years back. Hopefully they’ll survive and come back at some point. I may see what they’re offering on postings, has anyone tried their Job Board?

I heard thru the grapevine that JobsGroup.net are offering some great deals on their network of niche jobsites (http://www.JustEngineers.net, http://www.JustConstruction.net etc). They are on 0845 050 2000 in the UK or +44 1524 865 500 outside.
