recruitfest to piggyback on kennedy conference

News

In a down economy, many of the recruiting conferences we know and love are bound to take a hit in attendance and sponsorship dollars. As a result, combining forces seems to make a lot of sense for those willing to do so. Enter up-and-comer RecruitingBlogs’ RecruitFest and the more established Kennedy Information Recruiting Conference.

The two conferences, headed by pied-piper Jason Davis and Anna Brekka respectively, will commence on consecutive days in the same venue, The Mirage in Las Vegas, May 19-22, 2009. RecruitFest is planned for the 19th. Kennedy has pre-conference events that day, but the regular conference doesn’t start till the 20th.

“I am very happy that RecruitFest will be in Las Vegas this year, and it makes a lot of sense to have the event the day before the Kennedy Conference,” said Davis. “Kennedy has been very supportive of RecruitingBlogs.com and given the economy right now, it makes sense to do it this way. I also love Las Vegas so there is a built in energy to begin with.”

RecruitFest was originally scheduled to take place in Toronto this coming April. For more information, checkout RecruitingBlogs and The Recruiting Conference.com.
