jobster pr head resigns

News

Christian Anderson is one of our favorite people. Not so much that he’s a warm-and-fuzzy presence, but for the simple fact that he ran Jobster’s public relations for much of The Jason Goldberg Era. Respect.

Managing many of the fires – most of which happened on this blog – that Goldberg ignited could not have been a fun or easy job, but Anderson was always the consummate professional. And now he’s gone. (Frankly, it took longer than we expected.)

In a mass e-mail to contacts, Anderson said:

“I wanted to let you all know that I have new contact information. I resigned from Jobster to take a new gig with FanSnap (www.fansnap.com). FanSnap is a ticket search engine for concerts, theatre and sporting events … FanSnap is based in Palo Alto, but I will be running communications from Seattle.”

He’ll serve as director of corporate communications. We wish him well.

Christian was a consumate professional at Jobster, even when I asked him some very… uncomfortable… questions. I wish him the best of luck at FanSnap!

  2. Christian Anderson Says:

Thanks much for the well wishes. I tried for three years to get a post like that. It takes resigning to get it. Had I known that I would have resigned long ago :)

    I appreciate your kind words.

    All my best,
    Christian Anderson
