@bob what are the considerable differences? It looks to me like gettinghired is trying to be like disaboom and its not going so well. These guys make up all their stats. They have for every for every model they have tried. My guess is their management team has no clue about this space or technology.

Come on Mr. Muscalino and Bob...are you serious?

The social networking component is worse than anything I have seen.

The website looks like my 3rd grade kid designed it (nice bumblebee!).

Rightmatch technology = still selling this smoke?

GettingHired Advisory Council = come on really?

All their jobs on their site aren't friendly to the disabled, it's every single one of their poor swindled clients' jobs or just scraped jobs.

There is a misunderstanding... Gettinghired has 3 revenue producing business models, the latest being a national job board that works on helping people with disabilities find suitable employment by matching them to company job posting who which to hire from this community.

Vanessa, since Chad is a senior level executive at a company called Direct Employers who has a partnership relatonship with disaboom, he should obviously be promoting Disaboom site, and for the right reasons, but there are some considerable difference between Gettinghired and Disaboom.

I am Tom Muscaino, COO with GettingHired.com. My involvement with GettingHired commenced 2 years ago. Prior to GettingHired I headed up several large public companies and obviously worked with talented and capable management teams. I am proud to be associated with the dedicated and capable GettingHired team.
Don't be misled by uninformed malcontents with some hidden agenda.
GettingHired.com is a wonderful initiative developed to help the 23 million working age American's living with disabilities secure sustainable employment and who, for far too long, have been overlooked.

Thanks, Chad, I'd like to look into Disaboom further.

I had no idea this site has gone through so many transitions. It certainly does sound suspicious, given the comments above.

Seems like this site is a win-win for both jobseekers and employers.

I particularly liked the website designers attention to detail and focus on the user experience - such as the ability for visitors to easily adjust font size and contrast. Great features overall and I think this is a great benefit for visitors who have sight limitations.

Good luck to the entire GettingHired team!

You might've missed this one...

Disaboom.com is community driven, slick and inspirational site which provides users with disbilities and their caretakers content revolving around Health & Living just for starters.. Plus they take the JobCentral API which includes hundreds of thousands of REAL jobs from the National Labor Exchange (plug)..
