I just saw that ad and thought the same thing. Large brand advertisers have tried and tried again to use Facebook but the ads don’t convert...no one is looking over there. My last company Adblade launched on Facebook and we figured that out very quickly. The only ads that do convert on facebook are people that think they can make $5000 a month posting links to Google or getting free government grants. Facebook traffic is growing very nicely but since the users aren’t searching or browsing by context or category, there is no bridge for advertisers to use....have you ever bought anything on Facebook? Ever clicked an Ad? Either have I and this is why they don’t make any money.
