mjob-logoIf you’re not a Facebook fan or on our e-mail list, it’s news to you. We’ve recently soft-launched our latest venture, mJob.

Yep, that’s ‘m’ as in mobile.

I’ve been intrigued by mobile since I bought my first Palm back in 2003 and always thought the ability to have the Web in your hand, always on, at all times, was bound to be an idea and technology that would take off. It was merely a question of time. And since smarter people than me agree that now is that time, we took the jump.

Mobile Recruting
The popularity of the iPhone and the growth of searches on Google are clear motivators to begin paying attention to the opportunities that mobile recruiting can offer. At mJob, we aim to provide services that help everyone from job boards to employers leverage the power of mobile to drive top talent and build brands. We offer:

  • Mobile Web Sites
  • SMS (Text Messaging)
  • MMS
  • iPhone Development
  • Bluecasting
  • Mobile SEO / SEM
  • … and more.

In addition to helping businesses, we’ll be rolling out a consumer play in the weeks to come. If you’d like to be part of the private beta testing phase, simply text BETA to 95495. We’ll alert you when the testing begins.

    Free White Paper
Not sure if mobile is for you? Checkout our registration-free white paper, “Why Go Mobile?” (PDF). So far, it’s gotten some nice feedback. ” If you’re a mobile recruiting fan like I am, you’ll enjoy this great write up by Joel Cheesman,” said Michael Marlatt. “He just launched a cool new site called mJob … definitely worth a visit.”

“The white paper is excellent,” said Steven Rothberg. “About a dozen pages, suitable for beginners or experts, and chock full of excellent tips.” And Gerry Crispin called it “nicely done,” in a Tweet. (Hey, high praise if you know Gerry.)

To access the white paper, simply visit mjob.com/wp.pdf.

We’re still in the early stages of getting things off the ground but are very optimistic in mobile’s future. It should be an interesting ride in what is a brave new world. Expect to hear more about mJob via Cheezhead in the future.
