It wasn’t that long ago – four years to be exact – when Simply Hired launched as a small website that aggregated job postings from job boards, company pages, online classifieds and other data sources.

Now the job search engine is celebrating a plethora of milestones, including being one of the top 75 web sites in the United States, powering 30,000 local job portals, and being part of a network of more than 5,000 sites. They also power the international job channel for MySpace U.K. and supplement LinkedIn’s job board with millions of job listings from Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, France, Germany and Spain.

In addition, Simply Hired has created partnerships with BusinessWeek, US News & World Report, Workforce Management, CNN Money and most recently, The Washington Post.

This week Simply Hired has another big announcement: they’re expanding globally. With dedicated web sites in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and India, Simply Hired can now be found in Germany, France, and Spain.

The new three localized job search websites for Germany (www.SimplyHired.de), Spain (www.SimplyHired.es) and France (www.SimplyHired.fr) are currently live and will be announced in Europe shortly, a rep for the job search engine said.

A company press release said that launching Simply Hired websites for Germany, Spain and France has been an integral part of the job search engine’s efforts to provide simple and effective job seeking tools to users around the world.

gautam-godhwani“Despite unprecedented unemployment rates, Simply Hired has millions of open jobs in our U.S. database in need of the perfect people to fill them,” said Gautam Godhwani, co-founder and CEO, Simply Hired. “By expanding internationally and partnering with social networking organizations such as LinkedIn and Plaxo, we are confident that we are providing job seekers with every possible resource to find their dream job.”

Recruiters and direct employers can add their jobs into these international sites through a job feed. They can also advertise their employment brand via premium display ads that appear on relevant search result pages.

Wow – the aggregators live. They still look like the only real Web 2.0 plays in HR tech right now. Many new products come and go, but the aggregators still provide a valuable service.

I used SimplyHired’s “job-a-matic” job board on my site and it was very easy to implement and they responded back to my questions quickly. I like these guys and wish them luck.
