QuietAgent has launched Q-Filter, a next generation applicant filtering technology that claims to improve the performance of a company’s recruiting function by ensuring only the most qualified and interested applicants are presented to recruiters.

The new product will enable companies to more effectively match candidates. Q-Filter also will significantly increase recruiter productivity and reduce applicant tracking system hosting costs by up to 80 percent. Q-Filter uses QuietAgent’s proprietary candidate profile and job matching technology.

“In the current economic environment more people are applying to fewer jobs than ever before, putting a major strain on a company’s recruiting staff,” QuietAgent CEO Jason Kerr said. “This increased workload reduces the time recruiters have to properly review and manage applicants, making it harder for companies to identify potential employees.”

Q-Filter works by integrating with a company’s existing ATS and allowing employers to automatically match applicants based on a detailed job profile that includes skills, career desires and work preferences. The software also allows companies and recruiters to invite matching applicants to apply for job openings that are relevant to their skills and career level.

“It’s a growing problem for companies of all sizes” Kerr added. “The reach of the Internet has made it hard to control the quality and quantity of people who apply, and that has a real cost to a business.”
