HarQen, a Web-telephone company, announced today that it is adding a new shortlist feature to its VoiceScreener service.
VoiceScreener is an e-commerce site that provides an efficient, automated telephone interviewing service to small and medium-sized businesses. Once an HR professional has completed their initial round of candidate phone interviews with VoiceScreener, the shortlist feature enables them to share the top candidates with their clients.
The new feature allows staffing agencies and hiring managers to quickly and easily present their clients and colleagues with top candidate interviews completed through VoiceScreener.
Clients then have the ability to review the actual interviews, form their own opinions, rate with a thumbs up or thumbs down and provide commentary so candidates can be reviewed and hired faster. The shortlist review area is designed with a simple interface and there is no VoiceScreener login or registration required for those accessing the shortlist feature.
“Our clients are our best advisers when it comes to making VoiceScreener an efficient talent management solution, so when our clients at Quovis came to us with ideas to make the process more efficient and more valuable, we jumped at the opportunity to collaborate on a solution,” Kelly Fitzsimmons, co-founder and CEO of HarQen, said.
“It allows a staffing or recruiting firm to put top candidates into a parking lot, where everyone involved in the hiring process can quickly listen to top candidates at their convenience and share their opinions, making it much faster to get to the next step in the hiring process,” Fitzsimmons continued.
VoiceScreener’s shortlist feature virtually eliminates any first-level risk by allowing clients to have a say in the screening process. This feature has the ability to save time and money by eliminating the need to create full text reports and notes about each top candidate and eliminates the need for potential travel.
“As a HarQen client that uses VoiceScreener for our client’s hiring needs, the shortlist feature is a value-added informational tool,” Dan McGinley, managing partner at Quovis, Inc., said. “Voice is something that is tangible and integrating our clients into the hiring process by granting them the ability to hear first round candidate interviews, makes finding the best candidate faster than ever before. All we have to do is send a link and our clients can point and click to hear an interview and share their feedback. It’s that simple.”
