HireFlyer.com, a web-based job distribution site, has announced their launch in five major cities: San Francisco, Boston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
The company says they are not your typical job board because their site is easy to use, affordable, and accurate.
“We conducted a number of marketing surveys over a period of 3 months and everyone surveyed, job seekers and posters, said the number one frustration of existing job boards is they’re too complicated, too expensive and they don’t give me what I want,” said Bob Davis, President and CEO at HireFlyer.com. “We’re providing a better solution, at a lower cost, with greater accuracy for both parties.”
After landing on the site, a job seeker can create a profile to receive email job notifications in less than 30 seconds with the aid of the site’s proprietary matching technology. They can also receive notifications via text message. And there’s another added incentive to join: job seekers who refer someone will get one credit used toward a random drawing for 9Beaches Resort in Bermuda.
Conversely, job posters can create a company profile, begin posting jobs to the web site and have them pushed to job seekers matching the required skill sets. HireFlyer recently implemented an XML link to Indeed to help push job postings to more job seekers on the web.

My recent interaction with President Bob Davis was very pleasant. I wish him the best with his new endeavor.

this may be a much indemand service being ovfered, but the ‘without all the work’ right on the top of the page seems to be targetting the lazily inclined employee — i wouldn’t think employers would want those (probably thinking they already have 2many) ;) wrote some more of my experiences and thoughts on hireflyer here — http://web-poet.com/2009/07/30/hireflyer/
