The National Society of High School Scholars Foundation has given ten outstanding young scholars a $1,000 college scholarship to pursue college majors and careers in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) through a grant from Monster Worldwide.
These are the ten Monster scholars:

Chicago: Christopher Perez, Whitney Young Magnet High School
Cincinnati: Adrianna Boris, Colerain High School
Florence, S.C.: Kameryn McCarty, West Florence High School
Indianapolis: Meaghan Banks, Lawrence Central High School
Maynard, Mass.: Molly ONeil, Maynard High School
Milwaukee: Haji Mberaw, Washington High School of IT
San Francisco: Joanne Cho, Galileo Academy of Science and Technology
Tempe, Ariz.: Jessie Koljonen, Payne Academy at McClintock High School
Washington, D.C., Taiysha Hobbs, McKinley Technology High School
The NSHSS Foundation and Monster Worldwide recognize the need to produce more graduates with knowledge and skills in the STEM disciplines in order to meet the competitive challenges of the technology-driven global economy of the 21st century.
