MrTed Ltd., provider of the free applicant tracking system SmartRecruiters, has formed a partnership with First Advantage, a global risk mitigation and business solutions provider.
According to a company press release, the partnership will focus on providing small-to-midsized businesses a more effective and cost-efficient means for managing applicants.
“The partnership with SmartRecruiters will provide our clients access to a cost-effective recruiting solution and provide SmartRecruiters’ customers an array of integrated screening solutions that can be used to improve the quality of hire,” stated Paige Vesuvio, vice president of marketing for Employer Services at First Advantage.
The services from First Advantage will be available to users of SmartRecruiters by the third quarter of 2009 and will include background checks and I-9 verification. In addition to access to First Advantage’s services, SmartRecruiters users have direct posting access to some free posting sites, including SimplyHired, Indeed, GoogleBase and Recruit.net. Most recently, Yahoo!Hotjobs has been added to the list of available paid job boards.
