Beyond.com, a network of niche communities, has officially joined the ranks of a handful of job boards that have iPhone applications.
At SHRM Beyond announced the availability of its newest application, which enables users to search jobs across industry and local career sites from their iPhone or iPod touch devices.
The announcement comes on the heels of Beyond.com’s recent relationship with Viigo to bring interactive job search capabilities and career content to BlackBerry(R) and Windows Mobile device users via Viigo’s popular mobile application.
With the launch of its iPhone/iPod app, Beyond.com now provides job postings across the three major smart phone platforms on the market today.
Employers and recruiters can access articles and information on recruitment advertising and other HR-related topics. Job seekers can use the app to search jobs by keyword and location, view job details, forward jobs to friends and bookmark jobs. In addition, users can browse career articles for advice and tips on a variety of topics including job searching, resume writing and interviewing.
