Well this truly is a worldwide problem. Unemployment in the UK is spiralling out of control and the infrastructure in place to help people through the process is crumbling. My personal experience is I am unemployed for 4 months now and the recruiters are making up false positions to get CV's, placing jobs they know have already been filled and generally offering little or no service at all. I am deeply frustrated withe h process so set up a website called www.webjam.com/theoutofworknetwork as somewhere for people in a similar situation to myself to be able to vent their frustrations and get some moral support.
