That’s a great idea for a website. So many college graduates have a difficult time finding a decent job. When you’re in college there is this assumption that as soon as you earn your Bachelor’s degree you will be able to find an entry level job at a great company. But that’s definitely not the case anymore.

Thanks for helping spread the word. Although One Day, One Job is a simple idea, I think that it has the power to change the way a lot of people look for jobs. There is way too much focus on quantity in the job search, and I think there should be a lot more focus on quality. Get to know a company and decide whether they’re a good fit. Don’t carpet bomb every job posting with resumes. That’s what we’re trying to teach (because every day there’s a lesson along with a company).

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked out One Day, One Job just now and think that it can be a real helpful tool in learning about different companies that are offering entry-level positions right now. For anyone else who is searching for jobs suited for new graduates or internships, try OneCubicle.com. It’s similar to LinkedIn, but also reminds me of Facebook because it can be a social tool as well. It’s particularly helpful for anyone residing in California, as most of the companies on the site are California-based. There are a lot of exciting and fun internships available if you become a member and look around. It’s worth a look.
