A new Ning community is hoping to shake things up.
Shaker Recruitment Advertising & Communications recently launched a company blog at http://shakerrecruitment.ning.com. The community will be a place where agency thought leaders can share their ideas, engage in conversation and invite participation of all parties interested in recruitment and retention communication strategies.
“We’re pleased to have our blog up and running to provide access to our team of experts and their perspectives,” Vice President Joe Shaker, Jr. said. “We believe in the power of social media providing an open platform for communication, participation and conversation among colleagues and clients and anyone interested in the most relevant recruitment/retention topics of the day.”
The blog, like most Ning communities, has a section for members to create their own page, as well as sections for members, blogs, events, videos and photos.
“The Ning platform has proven to be a worthy and flexible environment for us to establish a branded presence where we can invite participation – in essence, connect within a community – to broaden the conversation, elevate ideas, and hopefully generate value through the collective sharing,” Kris Penn, director of creative services at Shaker, said. “This is a welcome way for us to show what it means to truly live our brand: we connect.”
Shaker Recruitment Advertising & Communications helps organizations realize their business objectives by connecting them with top talent through employer branding, employee and candidate communications, interactive media, campaign development, collateral and metrics.
Shaker strategizes and manages recruitment and retention communications – from research and planning to design and development to placement and measurement – to foster employee engagement.
