urban interns to launch in boston

Thu, Aug 13, 2009

News

Urban Interns, a site we reported on earlier this week, has announced that it plans to launch in Boston in early September.

The site, which pairs interns with small businesses, will now be able to connect Boston students seeking part-time work and experience with employers in the area who can use some extra help.

The company said it has already received registrations from Boston area students and recent graduates. Urban Interns also has been acknowledged by Boston University and Boston College and is even listed as a resource on the Boston College Career Center page.

On a side note, Urban Interns also noted that many employers are looking for help in the areas of marketing and sales, which could mean that some small business owners are planning on growing in the near future.
