By Joel Cheesman - UK-based job search engine Workcircle has launched in the U.S. via Zamzim. The site hopes to aggregate job content from job sites and drive traffic through “contextual, deep-linked, long-tail PPC campaigns across the major search engines.”
Zamzim and Workcircle CEO Simon Appleton believes there’s space in the already-crowded job search engine market, saying “We’re cheaper, simpler and more effective than buying PPC direct from the major search engines, and it certainly works here in the UK.”

By Vanessa Dennis - A reader of Cheezhead sent us an email claiming she was scammed by Jobfox. The user alleges that she attempted to use their new candidate Intros service, but was met with a generic email response and a pile of spam instead.
She said, “Basically I don’t see that Jobfox’s Mutual Suitability System gives ‘one-to-one relationships and connections between candidates and employers’ at all. My impression? Nice try, Jobfox.”

By Vanessa Dennis - Best Buy is utilizing a lot of Web 2.0 technology to attract and recruit a younger generation. Senior Pipeline Generation Expert Joshua Kahn talked about three things in particular that are causing people to throw on those blue shirts: their Facebook page, an internal social network, and the much-publicized ROWE program.
Kahn said, “We felt this would allow people interested in potentially working for Best Buy to get a better feel for the real culture and what the actual employees were talking about far beyond what could be communicated via a job posting or banner ad.”

According to Newfrock, the breach stems from an inability to agree on technology and autonomy issues. Is this is the end of Yellojobs USA?
