Journalism Job Opening - Cleveland, Ohio

Our award-winning blog focused on issues impacting the employment industry, is looking for a self-starting journalist to join our small but motivated team to provide quality Web content across a growing family of Internet sites and blogs.

You’ll write compelling news and feature stories on a daily basis which impact recruiters, HR pros and Internet marketing experts around the globe. Background knowledge of Web technologies and properties such as blogging, MySpace, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, podcasting, wikis, YouTube, etc. is a big plus. Search engine optimization know-how is desirable as well.

You should be a well-rounded, friendly, sharp and organized journalist with a college degree and experience that includes outstanding writing (AP Style), reporting, copyediting, digital media, content management and production skills. Daily newspaper background is preferred.

Growth opportunities for go-getters and team players with a positive attitude and a penchant for creativity and a desire to question authority. Ability to work independently is a must. Some travel will be expected. Pay includes base salary and performance bonuses. Healthcare benefits are included. This is a full time position in Cleveland, Ohio. Relocation is not offered.
