By Joel Cheesman - Coal continues to fill the stockings of many job board employees this holiday season. The latest round of layoffs has occurred at onTargetJobs, a network of sites including BioSpace, Hcareers, RegionalHelpWanted.com and JobLoft. "In the six months that I have been here we have been working hard to consolidate the portfolio companies into a single entity with a range of 'niche' product lines," said CEO Mike Tansey. "At the same time that we were doing this we experienced a significant slowdown in certain markets that we anticipate will continue into next year. As a result we made some difficult decisions to consolidate certain functions across all of onTargetJobs. We are continuing to support and develop all of our individual brands."
