By Vanessa Dennis - Craig Newmark, founder of online classifieds site craigslist, has always been emphatic about keeping their trademark interface user-friendly. In an interview last January from SearchEngineWatch, Craig was asked about any future Web 2.0 plans. He said, "We're more like Web 0.1. We make incremental improvements, but we've gotta stay simple, usable, and fast." One has to wonder, though, why the most trafficked classifieds site has yet to develop an application for social networking sites Facebook or myspace. But considering their aversion to change, I wasn't surprised to hear Craig's response to my question.
