By Joel Cheesman - The ERE Expo went down last week. Judging by the turnout, you probably weren’t there. That’s not to say the show was a failure; it just means it was a bit more intimate than the past few events. A brief discussion with ERE head David Manaster brought a positive outlook when he reminded me that attendance at the most recent show was about the same as it was a few years ago with about the same overhead. They’ll no doubt survive the economic storm. Which might be saying more than most companies in our industry these days. Rumors of death, destruction and downturn were abundant.

monster ceo editing yahoo! finance message board?

By Joel Cheesman - An anonymous e-mail came across my desk last week charging Monster CEO Sal Iannuzzi with deleting content on Yahoo! Finance’s message board with less than appealing words for the stock and its leadership. “Sal our CEO seems to be upset with my Yahoo MB posting and keeps getting it pulled down! He cannot handle detractors who have figured him out. Here’s to free-speech,” said someone calling himself “Tim Goldman.” A quick look reveals there may have been some foul play.

CEO of the online referral platform Yellojobs, has announced that he is leaving the company effective immediately, along with COO Alex Conway and VP of Business Development Brad Wells. According to Newfrock, the breach stems from an inability to agree on technology and autonomy issues. Is this is the end of Yellojobs USA?
