By Vanessa Dennis - Seattle-based TalentSpring, Inc. announced that its open funding round, where it secured $1.6 Million in investment from Second Avenue Partners and private investors, is now closed. TalentSpring said the funding enabled them to launch and promote their semantic-search technology to the talent acquisition industry and to create another complimentary platform set to debut in May.

Subscribing customers will now have access to source from a broader scope of candidate pools including additional LinkedIn profiles and free job boards. In addition they now have the capacity to sync with more paid job boards and applicant tracking systems.
